About

Vertically integrated. Hospitality focused. New York born.

Lorient Holdings is a value-add real estate investment and development firm. We find opportunities that exceed market returns.

Our story

We are a vertically integrated development and investment firm with a focus on hospitality.

Based in New York City, we pursue value-add opportunities across the country, with particular emphasis on high-density urban markets and the hotels, multifamily communities and mixed-use buildings that anchor them. Our management team has collectively developed and sold billions of dollars of residential and commercial real estate.

Our founder also leads FIND Real Estate, a 1,500-agent brokerage platform headquartered in New York City. That relationship is our two-pronged advantage: it is how we see deals before they are marketed, and how we keep the cost of running them off our investors’ returns.

Proprietary data

See it first.

Fifteen hundred agents transacting across the five boroughs and beyond generate a wealth of current, proprietary and actionable real estate data: asking rents, achieved rents, buyer depth, and the buildings whose owners are ready to talk. Lorient has access to all of it.

Cost externalization

Keep the spread.

Leasing, sales, property management and construction oversight are services we already operate. By leveraging the brokerage platform, Lorient reduces the overhead that would typically diminish investor returns, and keeps control of execution in house.

How we think

Hospitality is an operating business.

A hotel is a brand, a team and a guest experience before it is a cap rate. We underwrite the operation, not just the building, and we run what we own.

Proprietary data beats the market.

Our affiliated brokerage transacts across New York City every day. That gives us current, actionable information on rents, buyers and what is quietly for sale.

Externalize cost, not control.

Sourcing, leasing, management and construction oversight live inside the platform. Overhead that would normally erode investor returns is absorbed by businesses we already run.

Value-add, in every asset class.

Repositioning is the common thread: a tired hotel, an under-managed multifamily community, a well-located retail box with a stronger tenant waiting.

Discipline over volume.

We would rather pass on ten deals than force one. Patience is the cheapest form of downside protection.

Be a good partner.

Brokers, lenders, operators and sellers all remember how a deal felt. We want to be the buyer people call first, and call back.
